Salty Boogers vs Traditional Dive Shops

No strict schedule

We do not have a set schedule for diving. We do our absolute best to operate on your schedule and provide you with a totally personalized experience. We will choose the best times for you and your dive team.

No busy spaces

People do not come to Roatan hoping to find a crowded, noisy, and rushed environment. We all want to relax and with our small group diving you will not have to deal with noisy crowds disrupting your experience.

No crowded boats

Fill the boat with your friends and family. You get to dive with the buddies that you choose and we can create the best experience for your dive team.

We will do our best to make sure you do not have to share the boat with other large groups. As a small shop, most days are very quiet and we can change our schedule to avoid sharing the boat with other divers. Reach out to reserve a private boat for a half day or full day and we can guarantee the availability for your group, your schedule, your adventure.

No unnecessary limitations

Most dive shop need to make a compromise when selecting dive sites to accommodate the different dive groups on the boat. We will bring you to the best dive sites and dive the profile that is best for you and your buddy team.

No unexpected changes

We will never change or delay your dive plan to accommodate another diver or group. Of course, circumstances may arise that require us to change our plans, but we will never change your plan to accommodate another customer.

What makes Salty Boogers different?

At Salty Boogers, we aim to focus on one small group at a time. Every other dive shop is trying to bring in as many divers as possible to maximize their revenue. Even if they advertise as "boutique" or "small groups", other shops will fill the boat with as many groups as possible every day.

Salty Boogers is built for small groups who want a more enjoyable way to dive. We want to provide you with the most relaxing and fun experience possible. Instead of working a busy day in a crowded dive shop, we get to share an incredible adventure with a few new friends.

Where We Meet in West End

Salty Boogers Divers is an independent small-group scuba diving business based in West End, Roatán. Most of our dives and courses meet at Sea Hunt Divers, a trusted local dive facility on the quiet end of West End Road.

This location gives us easy access to boats, tanks, rental gear, classrooms, dock access, and nearby dive sites while keeping your booking, schedule, instruction, and dive plan handled directly through Salty Boogers.

There is also a bar and restaurant on site, The Deco Stop, making it an easy place to relax before or after diving.

We also work with other trusted dive shops and boat operators around Roatán when a different location, larger boat, special site, or custom trip makes more sense for your group.
