Fun Dives for Certified Divers

Dive into the details

What is the diving like in Roatan?

Roatan is one of the best places in the world for recreational diving. The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef provides every type of diving environment we could ask for, with the exceptions of ice or altitude! Roatan is known to be an extremely easy place to dive. On most days of the year, we have warm water, calm seas, great visibility, and minimal currents. With a very short boat ride, we get to enjoy the amazing structure of the world's second largest barrier reef.

Why go diving with Salty Boogers?

We offer private diving that is tailored to every dive team. This allows us to accommodate last minute changes, individual challenges, or provide you with an amazing adventure. Diving out of West End gives us access to the best dive sites in Roatan. We can provide mixed level diving for groups with divers of different experience levels or even non-divers. Salty Boogers is the perfect place to spend the day on the water with families and friends.

How much does diving cost for certified divers?

The price for diving varies based on the number of dives you do with us during your trip. Refer to the chart below:

Nitrox: +$5 per dive
Night dive or dawn dive: +$10 per dive
LATE night dive +$20 per dive (9pm - 6am)
Additional snorkeler: $5 per dive with personal gear; $10 per dive with rental gear

We offer a $5 loyalty discount for returning customers.

A surcharge for extra fuel will be added for distant dive sites that require a long boat ride of more than 20 minutes. There are DOZENS of excellent dive sites within a 20 minute boat ride including some of Roatan's most popular sites. This includes sites like Texas, West End Wall, Blue Channel, Hole in the Wall, and the El Aguila Wreck.

What time do your dives go out?

Whenever you want! At Salty Boogers, we aim to be as flexible as possible in order to accomodate your wants and needs. Just let us know what the schedule you would like and we will do our best to make it happen. Many divers choose to dive in the morning, but we can be available throughout the day. Keep in mind, you can schedule other activities with us as well such as a snorkel tour, sunset cruise, or even a water taxi to other spots on the island.

What if I want something special?

Want to hunt lionfish? Pop the question? We can take it low and slow for macrophotography, our dive to the deep end for a dose of that sweet narcosis. We love to cater to your special requests as long as it is safe for us divers and respectful to the underwater world. Reach out for personalized info on whatever you're looking to do.
